If there is two days left in the auction, you can retract your bid.

Go to the webpage that shows the item you bid on. Click on bid history, and there should be a place under the bids that are showing, that says "you can only retract your bid on certain conditions." Then click on that, and it will ask you for an explanation of why you want to retract your bid, most likely your reason will be that you accidentally entered the incorrect amount. Pick that from the scroll down bar that gives you the reasons you can retract your bid. After that, you can click retract bid and presto, your bid is cancelled.

Although this is not a feature to be abused, Ebay keeps track of how many bids you retract and you can get in trouble for using it too much so just be careful.

I think I did that once. I overbid only a few seconds before the auction was finalized, but for some reason I only had to pay the suggested price. There's a weird system with eBay... Don't freak out too much.

Go to the link I have posted below. It is not a big deal I have retracted a few bids over the years.

ebay do allow you to retract bid in case of obvious mistake, also email the seller telling them you are sorry etc

contact the seller as soon as possible and tell that, he is the only one that can retract your bid.

send the seller an email. Explain what happened, worse case scenerio, you tell them you cant pay it, they will send a unhappy rating.
